I've struggled with major depression my whole life and it's inhibited every aspect of how I want to live. I've destroyed countless friendships, relationships, and opportunities due to my lack of change. Been on and off meds, therapy, in and out of outpatient programs. Last year I went through an especially rough low questioning my worth and what really mattered. My wife suggested I put these feelings into a record.

So I recorded a 37 minute 2 sided album titled "The Moon Behind The Mountains/The Face Between The Trees" set to release last year. Never satisfied due to the personal nature of the material, I decided to just trash the entire project and forget about it.

A friend of mine suggested I find a better use for the material and let go of it on more amicable terms. So I buried 7 flash drives around California with the record and the artbook on it. If no one ever finds it, great. I'll be posting the coordinates soon if anyone ever wants to go find them. If it's found and someone gets something from it, awesome. The project was finished writing wise but mixing and mastering was never completed.

This was the last track on that project and the only one I'm satisfied with.
